Fishing Report

We only fished a total of six hours on a tributary to the Amazon. We had several Indians fishing with us. All together we caught about twenty to thirty pounds of fish. Larry has a video of me catching a peacock bass. Smaller than his though.

I wanted to give you bettwer photos than those posted by Bobbi earlier. They are better photos of the fish, but as you can tell not necessarily better photos of the poeple.

We have visited and worked in four different tribal villages, but we have only taken time to try to fish at two. Most of our time has been traveling more than three thousand miles or teaching them how to tell stories to children.

I spent all morning cleaning dust and dirt from everything we had with us. Bobbi is now teaching a young Tarena Indian how to use water color and artist chalk to create Bible story pictures that his people will identify with. The indigenous tribes are the best people to share the gospel with their peers. Although it is an adventure to come here we want them to learn the skills that they can use to minister instead of sending people from other cultures to them.

Bobbi will send more information soon of our whole two week trip.

Blessings,
Cal & Bobbi

Oh wow!!! The peacock bass looks really pretty; so neat. I'm sure that was exciting. We talked about you at prayer meeting tonight. Lots of people are so excited to get to read your posts. Even though some have not signed your comments there are still many that are looking at it. Love ya both!!!
